At By The North Media Corp., we make media about this place — the North — and the people who live here. The work is documentary in spirit and commercial in craft: real stories, told honestly, made by people who know the snow.
We are a small house, on purpose. We take on a few projects a year, and we finish them properly. Our team is small enough that the person who answers the phone is the person who shows up on set. That isn't a feature of our business model. It's just how we work.
The North is not a backdrop for our work. It is the work. Its landscape, its people, its particular way of measuring time — these are the things we set out to record, honestly, on behalf of the people who still live here.
Every story has a North in it — a place where the map thins out and the telling becomes real.

We operate as a private media company. Our public footprint is intentionally quiet — we publish the corporate facts that belong in the public domain and provide a point of contact for legitimate inquiries.
